SolidBase is a 27-year-old Californian DJ who got his start in mixing after hearing one of his favorite artists – ATB – play at the 2001 Trance Energy. He first got into listening to trance thanks to ATB as well, after hearing the song 9PM at the age of 16.

However mixing music isn’t his only forté, his mashup “Ronski Speed vs Activa – Flashpoint Space” that he made under the alias ViciousCode was played by Alex Morph at enTrance 2008.

He is also a part of the duo Solid Syn with his wife Synerje, who he has done multiple radio shows with over the past six years.

His music styles of choice when it comes to mixing are between melodic and tech trance, such as Super8 & Tab, ATB and Stoneface & Terminal.

Today SolidBase’s goal is to play live at events and in the future, this is sure to happen.

Synerje – real name Marissa – is a part of the group Solid Syn. She became interested in electronic dance music in her early teens, when thanks to her older brother she discovered the genre and instantly became fascinated.

At first she was just an avid fan, but later on at the age of 17 she started doing live sets of her own, as part of a duo Solid Syn with her now-husband – SolidBase.

Her favorite styles of music are tech and hard trance, where she draws inspiration from the harmony between the hard bass and the combining melodies, even though she likes to alternate between different styles of music while mixing. Among her favorite artists are Super8 & Tab and fellow Estonians DNS Project and Beat Service.

Now at the age of 24 she has over six years of experience and with a newly found passion for music and mixing she plans to take it to the next level.

Robbie4Ever (real name Rob Reijersen) was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and grew up in a little town called Purmerend just 15 km North of Amsterdam. Friends from his childhood keep calling him Robbie forever, a name he never got rid off and inspired him to use it as his artist name.

As a kid he already had great interest in electronic music, especially synthesizer music, with names like Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Kraftwerk. With the years his interest shifted to electronic dance music with influential musicians like Depeche Mode, New Order, Yello, Pet Shop Boys and many more.

Robbie studied at the Amsterdam Institute of Technology and got his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. After millitary service he started working as a software engineer.

Early 2011 Robbie got inspired by Swedish DJ/Producer Johan Ekman to pick up his old hobby and started creating his own trance mixes, mainly driven by his own needs that could not be satisfied with the available livesets and shows.

His passion for trance music resulted in the ongoing show ‘Trance Kingdom’ with tracks ranging from progressive, uplifting, tech-trance to hardtrance and a beats per minute range from 128 bpm to 140 bpm.
